New six-month certificate programs at Gateway Community College offer non-credit continuing digital skills education with pilot scholarships for participating students to advance their careers.

With industry guidance from a Technology Advisory Council (convened with the help of EDC New Haven), Gateway created a new Business Analyst certificate, continued an IT support credential, and merged two offerings into a Print and Digital Media Publishing program. Support began with scholarships for 25 students in 2017-2018, with an additional 39 students following the Fall 2018 launch of the new Business Analyst program. Following these pilot cohorts, each program has continued, supported by both tuition and scholarships from other funders.
